Dynamic and multi-faceted, Dance Theatre of Ireland's visually arresting work emerges from a world where the senses, the intellect and the heart co-exist: where accumulated life experiences and the inexplicable  visions of the imagination are equal parts.  Their poetic vision is delivered in finely etched, highly - charged, multi-disciplinary work combining rigorous choreography with original music/sound and digital imagery.  Explosions of primordal energy contrast with profoundly simple statements elegantly executed and timelessly evocative.  Collaborating with some of the Ireland's finest musicians and contemporary artists, their repertoire features the work of Artistic Directors Robert Connor and Loretta Yurick and renowned European choreographers, such as Charles Cre-Ange (FR), Phillipe Saire (CH), Charles Linehan (UK) and Will Dorner (AT).  With a stunning cast of international dancers, the Company tours within Ireland and to some of the finest International Festivals in Europe.

"Connor and Yurick have transformed the landscape of Irish contemporary dance...Their work is a constant reflection on our human states of frailty and strength... a prime force in Irish dance."
Karina Buckley, Sunday Times, London

"...intricate layers of ground controlled choreography that lifts the spirits immensely."
Seona MacRaemoir, Sunday Tribune

"This work is spectacular...The stardust theory of everything and more...Map of the Human Heart..."
Mary Finn, RTE Guide

"...exquisite style...from the expressionistic to the impressionistic...utterly assured dance work..."
Moroney, In Dublin
