JUXTAPOWER is a New York City based production of South Africa's Story, Song and Dance, whose focus is on the positive aspects and progress that has come about as a result of democracy in South Africa. It seems the world forgot much about this wonderful country after the death of Apartheid and JUXTAPOWER brings about this focus through its unique expression of South African Culture. Directed by Sduduzo Ka-Mbili, a South African born dancer and choreographer, this production offers a variety of services to communities, schools, colleges and theaters alike.
"Sduduzo Ka-Mbili's Juxtapower unexpectedly showcased various styles of movement in Izigqi Zezizwe (rythmns of nations), a ferocious warrior dance that showcased the power of South African dance and culture."
Jack Anderson, The New York Times
