Help
Desk/L.A. Cycle 2 Began July 1st The 2010-2011 Cycle of Help Desk/L.A. started on
July 1st.
Once again, ten Artists are participating, along with seven
Mentors, all highly experienced and respected arts professionals. Five Artists who participated in the
2009-2010 inaugural Cycle of Help Desk/L.A. have returned, and five new dance
companies and independent choreographers have joined the group. Artists and
Mentors will work together over the course of twelve months to delineate the
artists' infrastructure needs and create realistic achievable goals and
strategies for filling those needs. Pentacle Program Staff will work with Artists and Mentors to ensure
successful partnerships and to provide additional expertise. The Artists, Mentor and Program Staff join
together as a group to explore common interests, goals and aspirations for
building a strong peer professional cohort within the larger Los Angeles area
contemporary dance community.
