Pentacle began developing its educational programs for academic institutions in 1988, expanding its services to include the performing arts community’s youngest members. Emerging out of this early educational work, Behind the Scenes was developed in 2003 as a program committed to youth workforce development for careers in the arts.
Over the 14 years of Behind the Scenes, we have seen how the program curriculum expands horizons for numerous young creatives, and in turn deepens the teachers’ knowledge about career paths in the arts.
