Unique Projects is a not-for-profit fiscal sponsorship program administered by Pentacle. The program is designed to connect creative artists to the funding resources needed to make and show work. Through the Unique Projects entity, enrolled artists are free to solicit unearned income in a legal, tax-deductible way. It functions as a crucial link between artists who are embarking on projects and the individuals, corporations and foundations which are interested in supporting artistic creativity and adventurous work.

H O W    I T    W O R K S

Individuals and organizations wishing to support your work make their checks payable to Unique Projects, Inc., earmarked for your company/organization. You mail your bundle of contribution checks to Pentacle, we deposit them, and mail you a ‘re-grant’ check for the donated amount, less a 7.5% administration fee.

Unique Projects is primarily designed to support individual contributions and small grant proposals. Artists seeking sponsorship for larger fundraising projects will need to acquire prior approval from the directors of Unique Projects.

The community of artists on whose behalf Unique Projects may solicit funds changes over time as some projects reach completion and others are begun. Unique Projects artists reapply annually.

Our small, submission-based program allows our program administrator to be very timely and accessible to our member artists.

E L I G I B I L I T Y

An artist/artistic organization wishing to become a part of Unique Projects should submit a description of project and fundraising plans for the next year, as well as samples of recent work. These materials are examined by the directors and, upon their positive recommendation, the artist/artistic organization is invited to join our family of artists.

Submissions are accepted year-round.
