BARKIN/SELISSEN PROJECT presents Skyfire in Triskelion Arts’ Fall Split Bill series. The piece is a collaborative event inspired by impressions of Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy, featuring choreography by Kyla Barkin and Aaron Selissen. Crafted to travel through a surreal rendering of space and time, this abstraction draws upon universal ideas and images surrounding love, betrayal, labor, and the pure joy of existence, set to an original score by James Guastaferro and Zac Selissen. Projections by Lindsey Boise, and performing the work will be dancers Andrew Chapman, Aidan Feldman, Ross Katen, Kendra Isobel Samson, Marie Douesnard, and Kristi Ann Schopfer. Performances are at 7:30pm on November 22 & 23 at Triskelion Arts’ Aldous Theater (118 N. 11 Street, 3rd Floor in Brooklyn).
