Pentacle Updates: Newsletter #1

Dear Pentacle friends & family,

On behalf of our staff and board, I am excited to send you Pentacle’s first quarterly newsletter! In response to your most frequently asked questions, we have put these newsletters together to share program highlights, friendly reminders, advice, announcements and more! To kick off our first one, we want to remind you of several grant opportunities coming up that require fiscal sponsorship. If you have any questions about what that entails and if you are interested in fiscal sponsorship yourself, please read on and reach out to us for a conversation. Speaking of … our first PROGRAM HIGHLIGHT is on the Foundation for Independent Artists, our comprehensive fiscal sponsorship!

The Foundation for Independent Artists (FIA) is the ONLY comprehensive Fiscal Sponsorship  program for dance artists in NYC.

FIA offers performing artists instant 501(c)(3) incorporation without the challenges of incorporating.

Fiscal Administration

Pentacle welcomes new Fiscal artists Doug Varone and Dancers, RIOULT Dance NY, and Monica Bill Barnes & Company to our long-running Fiscal Administration program. The program continues to support artists through all-inclusive, financial services.

Grand Street Guild
Pentacle is excited to start another session of its youth dance programs at Grand Street Guild this spring! After initially partnering with the organization in 2017, Pentacle’s Teaching Artists have led sessions in traditional Chinese dance, salsa, samba, tango, and hip hop.

Pentacle was excited to add Ephrat Asherie Dance to the 19/20 Roster! Missed the November announcement? Check out more information about Ephrat Asherie Dance here.

Save the date for “Within and Between Us!” Experience site-specific dance by some of New York’s most inspiring choreographers, presented in partnership with the Rubin Museum of Art. The series is returning for its second year and will run March 27 – May 8.
