Work with Pentacle to Make Los Angeles Dance Happen

Your investment today will have double the impact! During our Matching Gift Challenge, your support will be matched dollar-for-dollar through December 31st, 2014. Click here to join Pentacle in keeping California dance healthy!

Pentacle provides Los Angeles and San Francisco dance companies and project-based dance makers with the direct infrastructure they need to survive and thrive. We are an economic and community development organization for an underserved population-the dance makers-a population that brings joy, well-being, emotional expression and so much more to our communities. Without dance, without art, our lives are black and white, two dimensional, and monotone.

You play an important role in ensuring small and mid-sized dance companies can continue to make work, perform, teach, and contribute to the rich cultural fabric of California communities. Whatever investment you make is much appreciated and valued.*

With your help, Pentacle can:

  • Provide a dance company with a highly experienced mentor to help guide it to its next step ($100)
  • Staff a dance company that only has an Artistic Director to do all the dance making and run the organization ($250)
  • Help provide professional development for young arts administrators critically in need of training in best management practices ($500)
  • Become a producer in Pentacle’s latest project Home Grown@Bootleg, a new way of presenting and seeing dance in Los Angeles ($1,000)

*Pentacle (DanceWorks, Inc.) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation and all donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
